Every season, we focus on an issue that YOU care about, whether it be immigration, climate change or gender-based violence, and curate a special collection of stories that shed light on that issue. Discover stories from diverse voices and genres, from young adult fiction to personal essays. Whatever youre into reading and whatever issues you care about, youll find a story on Novelly that will teach you something new.

Share your stories
Have a story related to this seasons social issue theme? Whether you have a personal experience, hot take or art piece that you want to share, youll find a community that is excited to learn from you. Throughout the season, we collect your submissions and release them as community-made books on the app.

Take action
Ever wanted to do something about an issue but didnt know where to start? Vote on the issues that you think we should focus on for the upcoming seasons. Each season, well release action guides for the social issue theme. These opportunities for action will come from partner organizations doing amazing work on that issue!

Be part of a community
When you join Novelly, you become a member of a community of changemakers and story-lovers. Share your opinions in the polls. Connect with other community members online and in real life by joining a Novelly chapter (pun intended) near you. You can also start a new chapter at your school, library, or an already existing club. Novelly chapters use the app to read stories, discuss issues, and take action together.
